5 Thoughts You’ll Have In The Southern Alps

This majestic mountain range extends along the vast majority of New Zealand’s South Island and includes 17 separate points that exceed 3,000 metres or 9,800 ft. in height. You’re going to have A LOT of thoughts and feels during this part of your Wild Kiwi adventure, and here are just a few.

We challenge you not to audibly gasp or to say wow as soon as you first set eyes on even just a small section of the Southern Alps. We can’t say for sure, but we think it’s probably physically impossible.
