Northern Voyager

Great tour! The week was jam packed with activities, there was a lot of driving but that’s expected when you’re doing the whole of the north island in 7 days.
I thought all the accommodation was really good, and really enjoyed the activities I chose to do. Tom was great also 😊

A really brilliant start to my NZ adventure! Got lucky with a great group of people and fab guide/driver Tom :) 100% recommend the Northern Voyager which takes you to Coromandel, Rotorua, Taupo and Raglan (via Matamata for Hobbiton + Waitomo Caves). Loads of activities, with something for everyone (and different budgets). I was gutted to miss out on the Tongariro Crossing (bad weather) so I would suggest sticking behind in Raglan and heading back to Taupo for a few more days. Overall s/o to Tom for a great week, for keeping it moving dispute a bus hiccup and thanks for all of his NZ knowledge + tips for the rest of my trip 🙏🏻

Just wrapped my first Wild Kiwi week on the Northern route with Tegan as our guide…and wow, what can I say except wow. I’ve travelled for a long time, and been on a lot of tours, and I can easily say this will stick in memory for a lifetime. I revisited a lot of New Zealand that I’ve seen before or activities I’ve done, but this trip will be lasting awesome memories because of the vibe of everyone on the trip and atmosphere Tegan created. Her knowledge and passion of Māori culture, but also all indigenous cultures everywhere, stood out so much. Really made an impact on the trip itself. Places weren’t just places and activities weren’t just activities, this Wild Kiwi trip around the North Island just made it so much more. Hard to put it all into a review really. Hats off to you Tegan for all the energy and passion you bring, don’t ever change! And never let the eel dance die. 😂 Good luck on further adventures!!! To the group that unfortunately had to split up a bit after this week, you all were amazing people to share in an adventure. Sad for this trip to end…but here’s to the next two weeks!

I was sceptical about doing a tour at first as I’ve never done a two week one before and was more used to solo travelling. However, it was one of the highlights of my time in New Zealand, I met some incredible people and had some unforgettable experiences that I would have missed out on otherwise- highlights being white water rafting in Rotorua, kayaking in Punakaiki, walking the Tongariro crossing, surfing in Raglan, and canyoning in Abel Tasman! What really made the tour were the incredible guides: Ben, Daisy, and Tegan, whose endless enthusiasm and excitement of showing the best of New Zealand was infectious, they went far above and beyond what you would expect from normal tour guides. Thanks guys!
