Adventure Tours

A continental breakfast made up of toast, cereal, and fresh fruit is included each day on all of our trips. Depending on the tour length, one group dinner per week will also be included. For the rest of the days, our guides will have some awesome recommendations and know all the best spots!

Premium Tours

A full cooked breakfast is included each day on all of our trips, with the exception of the first day of your tour. Depending on the tour length, 1-2 dinners will also be included. For the rest of the days, our guides will have some great recommendations and know all the best spots for lunch & dinner.

Our guides take up to 18 guests with them each week to keep the groups small, personal, and lots of fun!

Yes, we're happy for you to bring drinks and snacks on board. There are shops at most of our destinations so you can replenish your snack supplies.

Adventure Tours

We provide all the linen you need, including sheets, duvets, and pillows. We recommend bringing a towel for showering & water-based activities. Some properties may provide a towel for a small fee.

Premium Tours

Our accommodation providers will supply everything you need for each overnight stay on your tour. We recommend bringing your own towel for the beach and other water-based activities.

Our trips attract like-minded people of all ages (18+) looking for a premium guided-tour experience of New Zealand. All the while enjoying the comfort of staying in 3-4 star accommodation. We have people from all over the world come and travel with us – perfect for making new friends.

Adventure Tours

Throughout your Wild Kiwi trip, you will be staying in 6-8 bed shared rooms at hostel-style accommodations. Depending on the size of your group, these rooms may be mixed-sex rooms but will be exclusive to Wild Kiwi guests.

Premium Tours

Throughout your Wild Kiwi Premium trip, you will be staying in comfortable 3-4-star accommodations. Couples will be in double rooms and solo travellers will share a twin room with another Wild Kiwi guest.

Adventure and Premium Tours

Our activities are optional. The beauty of this is that you can create your own adventure and decide which activities you would like to add to your tour or when you prefer to have some free time, for example, to explore the area on a hike.

As part of making the tour zero-stress, your guide will handle the bookings of all of your activities for you whilst on the road, so all you have to do is decide what to tick off your bucket list first.

We hold allocations on the most popular activities to minimise the chance of missing out.

Yes, the flashpackers we stay at do have laundry facilities for you to utilise whilst you stay there. A small fee may apply for use of the laundry facilities.

Adventure Tours

Yes, absolutely. All of the accommodation providers we stay at have large kitchens and every gadget you could want to assist with preparing your own meal whilst on tour. We stay locally so there are supermarkets nearby for you to source food to cook for yourself.

Premium Tours

No, the hotels we stay at during the tour do not offer cooking facilities for guests to prepare their own meals.

Adventure Tours

You’ll need some warm clothing whilst on the mountain. Your rental package includes waterproof outer pants and jacket, including gloves and goggles however we would also recommend some warm inner layers, such as thermal wear. Layers are always the key.
