I did the Southern Voyager with Wild Kiwi and it turned out to be one of the best trips I’ve ever done. Our guide, Tom, carefully managed the trip and ensured our safety throughout the trip. This is definitely one of the best trips you can do in NZ. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of New Zealand. 10/10.

Had the most incredible time in NZ thanks to wild kiwi tours. Made some amazing lifelong friends and both tour managers from north island (big Ben) and South Island (Tom) were so helpful, organised and took care of all the stressful things. Would highly recommend WildKiwi to anyone that’s considering solo travel/ meeting new friends. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Two weeks with wild kiwi and I can’t believe it’s already over! The North/South island tours are well paced and offer plenty of activity options for a variety of interests. If you are visiting New Zealand for just a little bit, this is the perfect way to cover a ton of ground. the best part is the fantastic guides. We had Telli for the North and Tom for the South, and I love how each guide shared their knowledge and personality to make their portion of the trip unforgettable. If you are thinking of booking with Wild Kiwi, don’t hesitate and DO IT!

To the incredible guides: Telli is an absolute legend. Don't let the tattoos fool you, he's a goof with a heart of gold. Genuinely had the most amazing two weeks of my life on the big south trip. We were so well looked after the only thing we had to think about was what activities to do the following day. Tom was a fantastic tour guide, always up for a laugh, very knowledgeable and just one of the gang! The small group sizes on Wild Kiwi trips made it really easy to get to know people. Couldn’t recommend this trip enough, thanks for the best two weeks guys, I will definitely be back again for the north island :-)

I've had the absolute best week on Wild Kiwi Tours with Tegan as our guide on the South Island for a week! We very quickly felt like a family with Tegan's hilarious bus activities bringing us together. The tour was awesome, with many great views, activities and fascinating teaching of the Māori culture courtesy of Tegan's extensive knowledge which made the experience extremely engaging. Despite extreme weather conditions stopping us from getting to Franz Josef and an extra couple nights in Queenstown it was still a brilliant trip. Huuuuuge thankyou to Wild Kiwi Yours and especially to Tegan for making it such a joy!

I have just finished the 2 week new zealand explorer and it was incredible! The trip is split into 2 tours, north and south and we had a different guide for each island, in addition to a change in other travellers....despite being apprehensive initially I think this split works really well, it feels like 2 holidays in 1 haha!
Week 1 was spent on the north island, with our guide Telli bringing constant laughter as we travelled around, he's known for his horse joke....don't ask 😉 nothing is ever too much and he was always around to help if needed.
highly recommend the water rafting in Roturua, it was so much fun!
Week 2 was in the South Island and it was amazing, the scenery is out of this world and continually blew me away!
Our guide Tegan is honestly a powerhouse of knowledge and has a love for her job and this country that inspires, she went above and beyond expectations to ensure we were all having the best time possible every day, I honestly don't think any of us can sing her praises enough! She makes every day fun, keeping the energy high even on long bus journeys! Kia Ora Tegan for being authentically you and giving us all an amazing experience 👏

Wild kiwi blew my expectations in every single way! As a solo traveller I went into the trip alone and came out with 18 new friends (some lifelong). I want to say my biggest thank you to Tegan who made this trip what it was. She brought positive energy, loads of laughs, and taught me so much about Māori culture. This is a trip that I will remember for the rest of my life! I’ve had the privilege to travel to many places and I can confidently say that this week was one of the best in my life. Book this trip, and if you can do it with Tegan you are in for such a treat!

Toured the southern part of South Island with Wild Kiwi. Tom was an awesome guide - full of info and jokes and really took care of us. Wild Kiwi sort everything so you can sit back and the only thing you have to think about is which of the incredible activities to book!

The tour of the North of the South Island was amazing, I was welcomed by my peers and had the chance to do some priceless activities with some great people and even had a chance to do some solo exploring between activities. Our tour guide Tom, was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun and kept us all fed and entertained and was a great guy generally.
I would recommend Wild Kiwi and WILL be returning for another tour within the next year.
Thanks Tom and the rest of Wild Kiwi for making the best week of my life......so far 😀

Absolutely loved my time with Wild Kiwi! I booked the full 3 week tour so did a week of the North Island and 2 weeks in the South Island. I had a different group and a different guide each week, and all were amazing. Ben was always full of energy and loved entertaining, Tom was very knowledgeable and helpful and Daisy taught me how to twerk. What more could you want!?

I undertook the 3 week New Zealand Discovery tour and could not recommended it more! If you’re looking to explore the highlights of the north and south islands, particularly as a solo traveller, this is the perfect way to do it. All our Wild Kiwi tour guides were incredible and truly made the trip memorable, always sharing great information about the areas and activities, educating us on Māori culture and taking time getting to know everyone. A huge thank you to Tegan, Daisy and Ben for being such talented guides and all round awesome people. Personal highlights include swimming with wild dolphins in Kaikoura, sunrise kayaking at Cathedral Cove and the Franz Josef helihike! I’ve ended the trip with a bunch of amazing new friends and the best memories of Aotearoa.
